Shipping Method
We currently ship all parcels via Australia Post Parcel Post or Express Parcel Post for domestic orders and Australia Post International Air for international orders.
Shipping Rates
All shipping rates are calculated on a per-invoice basis, the shopping cart will determine the size, weight and dimensions of your order when you proceed to the checkout and calculate the correct shipping cost for your order based on your shipping location.
Shipping Times
Depending on the size of your shipment and the shipping location, your items may take between 7 ("seven") and 30 ("thirty") working days to arrive.
Domestic orders who choose the Express Parcel Post option will receive a tracking number on their invoice, which they can use on the AUSTPost website to track their shipment.
International orders who choose the International Air option will receive a tracking number on their invoice, which they can use on the AUSTPost website to track their shipment.
Delivery Times (as of the 19th of January 2006) to local destinations are commonly:
- Within Victoria: 1-3 days
- Eastern Australia: 3-5 days
- Central Australia: 3-7 days
- Western Australia: 5-10 days
Delivery Times (as of the 19th of January 2006) selected international destinations are commonly:
- New Zealand: 7-10 days
- UK/Eire: 10-14 days
- U.S.A / Canada: 10-14 days
- Germany: 10-20 days
- Finland: 15-20 days
- Mexico: 20-30 days
Applicable Duties and Taxes
International orders may attract additional fees in the form of customs clearance fees, duties or taxes on imported items.
All products sold by Empire Collectables comply with local safety laws and other legal requirements. Empire Collectables is not responsible for items shipped to other countries that do not comply with their local laws or safety requirements.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that any item(s) ordered from Empire Collectables comply with all local legislation in their country.
Empire Collectables is not responsible for customers orders that are seized by local customs authorities due to the customers non-compliance. Empire Collectables will not refund the cost of any products or postage for orders that are seized by customs authorities in their country.
Empire Collectables will not refund the cost of any products or postage for orders that are abandoned by customers or returned to us due to customers not complying with any taxes, duties or tariff levies imposed on them by their country.
Empire Collectables makes every attempt to ensure that all international orders ship with correct and accurate paperwork describing the items in detail so that you can be billed appropriately at time of entry.
Lost and Undelivered Items
Occassionally, an item will be lost, stolen or be deemed undeliverable to an address. We advise that you keep a printed copy of the invoice you receive via e-mail and present this invoice to your local Post Office if your order has not been received within a suitable amount of time.
